From Breitbart:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told evangelical Christian leaders in Florida that Israel is waging a new front against Islamist persecution of Christians worldwide, praising Christian Zionist support for the Jewish state while framing the effort as a “common Judeo-Christian battle.”
Netanyahu met Wednesday with heads of Christian churches and universities, who congratulated him on his meeting with President Donald Trump and praised what his office described as his steadfast wartime decisions.
…
He said Israel is joining an effort to form “a united nations of countries that support Christian communities around the world,” calling those targeted believers “beleaguered communities who deserve our help.”
Speaking to these Christian leaders, Netanyahu highlighted the partnership between Jews and Christian Zionists. He called Zionists like these leaders indispensable to Israel’s “re-emergence.”
The Prime Minister also mentioned Israel’s “seven-front war,” referring to the “hearts and minds of people” as the eighth front. He highlighted that Israel’s fight is a shared struggle, calling it “our common Judeo-Christian civilization’s battle.”
He highlighted the persecution Christians face worldwide, noting that Israel is the only safe haven for believers in the Middle East. And, in order to protect those believers, Netanyahu announced that Israel is joining with other nations to protect persecuted Christians. He added that Israel is capable of assisting in Africa and the Middle East, both regions where persecuted believers are currently suffering greatly.
For years now, Christians around the world have stood boldly with Israel. And now, it is encouraging to know that Israel is standing with believers around the world as well. Let’s pray that more nations would join Israel in standing up for the persecuted!
