Dear Friend,
I’m Cindy Lendt, and I recently began serving as women’s ministry coordinator for the Asia-Oceania Team. In the middle of August, I arrived in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to begin this new work.
I’m so excited about the goal of my call: to give women in Asia and Oceania greater access to the gospel.
If Jesus invested his time and energy into sharing the good news with a Samaritan woman and teaching Mary and Martha, then women’s ministry is worth our resources, too.
And I pray the result is the same: that the woman hearing the gospel for the first time shares it with her entire community, that the woman called out by Jesus goes out to Jesus when life hits hard, and that the woman who listens at Jesus’ feet breaks open the jar of her best for her Savior.
This is a brand-new role on the Asia-Oceania Team, so I’ve got some trailblazing ahead. This first year will be a time of exploring where women’s ministry is at and where it could go in the huge variety of regions we serve throughout Asia-Oceania.
Please pray for your sisters! Pray that Jesus opens doors for them to have greater access to the gospel, to the glory of God.
And if you’re able, please consider supporting this work with a gift. Your support helps equip and encourage women with God’s Word and create more opportunities for women around the world to hear the good news of their Savior.
Dear brothers and sisters in the U.S., please know that those of us in Asia-Oceania are praying for you, too!
In Christ,
Cindy Lendt
