As America approaches its 250th anniversary in 2026, a powerful movement is underway to rediscover and renew our nation’s spiritual roots. Intercessors for America (IFA) is leading The American Spiritual Heritage Project (ASHP) and calling on believers across the country to participate in rededicating our nation and land to the Lord—one county, one town, and one plot of land at a time. This initiative isn’t just about history; it’s a heartfelt effort to acknowledge God’s providence in our nation’s story by RECOUNTING, RECLAIMING, and REDEDICATION. It’s a grassroots movement!

If you haven’t heard about this transformative project at IFA, it’s more than an event—it’s a nationwide call to prayer and action, inviting individuals to explore the spiritual heritage of their local areas and contribute to an interactive map of faith stories. By participating, you’re joining a growing community committed to honoring America’s foundational blessings while humbly turning back to God. As we celebrate this milestone year, The American Spiritual Heritage Project provides a unique opportunity to reflect on how faith has shaped our communities and an opportunity to recommit them to the Lord.
To make involvement accessible and impactful, IFA is hosting a series of state-specific training sessions via Zoom. These sessions will guide you through the steps outlined on the IFA American Spiritual Heritage website, helping you uncover and submit your area’s spiritual heritage. Whether you’re new to the project or already engaged, these trainings are designed to equip you with the tools and inspiration to maximize your impact and participation. Emails with Zoom link and details will be sent to participants from each state a few days before the scheduled date. The schedule for the next two weeks is below.
