Virginia school teachers may soon be required to teach about what happened on January 6, 2021, within the narrow confines of approved talking points.

On March 5, the President of the Virginia Senate and the Speaker of the Virginia House both signed Bill HB333. Here’s their summary:
Public schools; programs and courses of instruction; instruction on January 6 insurrection; requirements and limitations. Permits a school board to provide a program of instruction on or relating to the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the United States Capitol to public school students only in accordance with the requirements of the bill. The bill prohibits any such program of instruction, any accompanying curriculum or instructional materials, or any instruction provided by a teacher as a part of such program of instruction from (i) describing, portraying, or presenting as credible a description or portrayal of the actions precipitating or involved in the January 6, 2021, insurrection as peaceful protest or (ii) stating, suggesting, or presenting as credible a statement or suggestion that there was extensive election fraud that could have changed or actually changed the results of the 2020 presidential election. The bill requires any such program of instruction, any accompanying curriculum or instructional materials, or any instruction provided by a teacher as a part of such program of instruction to describe the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the United States Capitol as an unprecedented, violent attack on U.S. democratic institutions, infrastructure, and representatives for the purpose of overturning the results of the 2020 presidential election.
All that’s left is the signature of Virginia’s new Governor, Abigail Spanberger, who delivered the Democratic response to the State of the Union Address last month.
During her campaign, she was characterized in legacy media as a centrist, despite the fact that she voted in lock step with Joe Biden nearly 100% of the time. Since taking office on January 17, she and the Democrat controlled Virginia House and Senate have created “new taxes on everything from car ownership to dog walking, and they are trying to redistrict Republicans out of existence.”
One of the things she ran on was “making our public schools the best in the nation.” Let’s pray she makes good on that promise and vetoes this bill, which would cripple critical thinking skills in students, indoctrinating them in such a specific narrative about J6.
New York could be next.
Though the Virginia bill doesn’t require children to be taught about J6, Long Island Democratic state Rep. Chuck Lavine wants to take things a step further in New York. His bill, A03966, “Requires instruction on the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and its aftermath in all schools in the state.”
Rep. Lavine said, “People are entitled to their own political beliefs, but they are not entitled to change facts.”
What are the facts?
Jonathan Turley, professor of public interest law at George Washington University, wrote:
The characterization of the riot as an insurrection is historically and legally false. However, any parents who want to send their children to Virginia public schools would have to accept this form of indoctrination as part of their children’s education.
He pointed out that the bill “raises serious concerns over academic freedom and free speech.”
As he wrote, of the thousands who were in the Capitol that day, “not one was charged with insurrection or conspiracy to overthrow the country.”
Professor Turley was a legal analyst for CBS News, and he exposed an unreported result of their poll about J6 public opinion:
CBS did not highlight the answer to the question of whether the day was really a “protest that went too far.” The answer was overwhelming and nonpartisan. Some 76% believe that this was a protest that went too far.
Since the public didn’t buy their narrative, it seems legislators are attempting to indoctrinate future civilians to fulfill what Nancy Pelosi said while Speaker of the House: “It is essential that we preserve the narrative of January 6th.”
Censorship looms.
It seems clear that Virginia school teachers would be forbidden to show documentaries like The Real Story of January 6, with on-the-ground footage of doors being opened to welcome protesters into the Capitol and paid agitators stirring up the crowd.
And surely they wouldn’t be able to share President Trump’s last two tweets before he was suspended from Twitter:

Also off-limits would be documentaries providing significant evidence of election and voter fraud in the 2020 election, like 2000 Mules and [S]Election Code.
I’ve experienced censorship of this information firsthand. I interviewed Janet Folger Porter, architect of the Heartbeat Bill, for IFA about a National Public Radio interview, intending to make her out as a villain for protecting life in the womb. Mrs. Porter described their attempted attack as “a puff piece!” Somewhere in the interview, she briefly mentioned that the 2020 election was stolen. YouTube removed that whole interview, stating: “Content that advances false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches changed the outcome of the U.S. 2020 presidential election is not allowed on YouTube.” The full interview with Mrs. Porter is available on Rumble.
Students are targets.
In 1963, 45 goals of the Communist Party USA — as identified by retired FBI agent Cleon Skousen — were read into the Congressional Record. Here’s number 17:
Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
Let’s pray the “centrist” Governor of Virginia and the Legislature in New York don’t help achieve this Marxist goal.

- May Governor Spanberger miraculously veto Bill HB333.
- May Bill A03966 not be given language to censor teachers, or may it not be passed in New York.
- If passed, may these laws be overturned at the Supreme Court.
- May these bills not inspire other states to indoctrinate students in similar ways.
- May teachers who know J6 was not an insurrection exercise their freedom of speech boldly before these laws are passed, and may their positions be protected.
- May the Virginia and New York State IFA Prayer Groups have wisdom from the Throne as they battle these bills in the heavenlies.
