A second Easter craft for the entire family is painting Easter eggs. While this is a typical craft to do on Easter, it is worth including. Most of us love the traditional egg painting, so including this craft in your Easter Day celebration would be great. You will need eggs, paint, paintbrushes, washcloths, and creativity to make this craft. If you do this craft with your kids, please make sure they are supervised to keep them safe.
You can boil the eggs or keep them raw. Either way, it will ensure the paint stays on. Depending on how old your kids are may impact your decision, but know that either way will work. You can start painting your eggs when you get all your supplies. Allow yourself and your kids to be creative in their designs.
There are no rules when it comes to painting the eggs. You can paint polka dots, zig-zags, or splatter paint. You could include other craft supplies, such as felt, feathers, or stickers, to make your eggs unique. Be creative in your designs and ensure each child puts their name or initial on their egg to remember which one is theirs. Although painted Easter eggs are not a craft you will be able to keep, you can take photographs of them to ensure you always remember the beautiful eggs your child made on Easter.
