A shocking act of violence against a Jewish community in Michigan is drawing national attention, as federal authorities confirm ties to a foreign terrorist organization. The incident highlights growing concerns about extremist influence and threats on American soil.

Who is praying on the wall?

    From The National Pulse:

The man who targeted the largest Jewish Reform synagogue in Michigan earlier this month was directed by the Iranian-backed Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a 41-year-old Lebanese national and naturalized U.S. citizen, purposefully targeted the Jewish community when he drove his vehicle into Michigan’s largest synagogue and opened fire on March 12.

During a press conference, the FBI stated that Ghazali’s attack was motivated and directed by Hezbollah’s “militant ideology.” Jennifer Runyan, the FBI’s special agent in charge in Detroit, revealed that Ghazali recorded a video just before the attack in which he stated, “This is the largest gathering place for Israelis in the State of Michigan in the United States. I have booby-trapped the car. I will forcefully enter and start shooting them. God willing, I will kill as many of them as I possibly can.”

Authorities revealed that the attacker used a vehicle loaded with gasoline and commercial fireworks to breach the synagogue before exchanging gunfire with security. The situation could have been far worse if not for the presence of security personnel who responded quickly. Reports also indicate that the attacker had recently experienced personal loss tied to the conflict in the Middle East and had consumed extremist propaganda, including calls for violence against the United States.

This attack underscores the growing concern about foreign-backed extremist ideologies influencing individuals within the United States. Hezbollah, which is supported by Iran, has long been designated as a terrorist organization, and its reach extending into acts of violence on American soil is deeply troubling. It highlights the need for vigilance, strong national security measures, and awareness of how global conflicts can have direct local consequences.

This is also a sobering reminder of the reality of evil and hatred in the world. The deliberate targeting of a Jewish place of worship reflects a deeper spiritual battle, one rooted in deception, violence, and opposition to God’s people. Scripture calls us to stand against such darkness—not only through action, but through prayer, truth, and love.

Intercessors, pray for protection over Jewish communities and places of worship across our nation. Ask God to expose and stop every plan of violence, strengthen law enforcement, and bring peace and healing where fear has taken root.

Intercessor, share this article and pray boldly—God’s light shines even in the darkest moments.
