Iran’s escalating threats against the Trump family have moved beyond inflammatory rhetoric into what officials and security experts are describing as operational incitement — detailed, specific guidance designed to help terrorists carry out an assassination. The latest video, posted by a terrorist-linked Iranian news agency, targets not just President Donald Trump but First Lady Melania Trump and her son, Barron Trump, raising urgent questions about how the United States will respond.

The pattern of threats has been building for months. Iranian state-linked media have posted a series of billboards and videos depicting the deaths of Trump family members, each one more specific and menacing than the last. The most recent video crosses a significant line, moving from symbolic imagery to what amounts to a targeting package — complete with locations, surveillance tips, and methods of attack.
From The Western Journal:
The video named several Manhattan stores where the president’s wife is known to go shopping, according to The Times of Israel.
The video noted indications the first lady might visit a store, such as the removal of garbage cans from the street before a visit.
Poisoning Melania Trump’s clothing could be accomplished by bribing her stylists, who were named in the video.
Barron Trump, 20, was also directly threatened in the video, which stated: “This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us.” Both the first lady and Barron have full-time Secret Service protection, and their primary residences — including the White House, Trump Tower in New York, the Bedminster golf club in New Jersey, and Mar-a-Lago — are secured by Secret Service agents. The video is the latest in a series of escalating provocations. Last week, Iranian billboards depicted the corpses of Melania Trump, Barron Trump, and Ivanka Trump with the word “KILLED” written above them in English. Earlier billboards showed President Trump and family members above flag-draped coffins bearing the words “Blood for Blood,” and another carried the message “We Kill Trump.”
The Iranian regime’s campaign of incitement reflects a deliberate strategy of intimidation directed at the highest levels of the U.S. government. Whether these threats are intended to provoke a response, demoralize American leadership, or inspire a lone actor, they represent a serious and ongoing national security concern that demands both vigilance and a firm diplomatic and military response from Washington.
Scripture calls believers to pray for those in authority, and 1 Timothy 2:1-2 makes clear that such prayer is not optional — it is a duty. The deliberate targeting of a mother and her son for assassination is an assault on the sanctity of human life and the dignity God has placed in every person. As intercessors we are called to stand against evil, to pray for the protection of the innocent, and to ask God to grant wisdom and courage to those responsible for the safety of the nation’s leaders.
