The Trump administration has designated an international technology collective as a global terrorist entity, accusing it of providing digital infrastructure to violent far-left organizations in the United States and terrorists overseas. The State Department says the group’s technology has been used by organizations ranging from Rose City Antifa and Jane’s Revenge to networks disseminating material for Hamas, Hezbollah, and other designated terrorist groups.

    From Fox News:

A State Department memo reveals that an international technology collective, now under a U.S. global terrorism designation, provided services to overseas terrorist groups and violent far-left agitators causing chaos in American cities, according to a copy obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Far-left terrorism poses a profound threat to the United States and the broader West,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Today, the United States sanctioned Autistici/Inventati – a major far-left tech collective whose services are used by the most active and violent Antifa cells in the United States and across the world.”

Autistici/Inventati, called the A/I Collective by the State Department, is an Italy-based group that builds highly sophisticated digital infrastructure used by violent left-wing organizations in the United States and Europe, along with Islamic terrorists, according to the State Department. The collective’s services include encrypted chats and email, web hosting, secure video conferencing and streaming and anonymity shields, according to the memo.

The State Department says these services were not simply general-purpose privacy tools. According to its memo, A/I Collective screened potential users for ideological alignment and provided infrastructure that extremists could use to organize, recruit, distribute propaganda and target information, and communicate while attempting to remain anonymous.

The U.S. has now designated A/I Collective as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist. The designation freezes assets under U.S. jurisdiction and generally prohibits Americans and American financial institutions from conducting transactions with the group.

Among the domestic organizations identified in the memo is Rose City Antifa, the Portland-based group that State says used A/I Collective services to encourage criminal activity. According to the memo, the group distributed instructions urging supporters to point lasers at Customs and Border Protection helicopters. At least one man later pleaded guilty to aiming a laser at a CBP helicopter, forcing it to abort a landing. The memo also alleges that Rose City Antifa used the technology to distribute personal information about ICE personnel and calls for attacks against agents.

The State Department also identified Jane’s Revenge, the militant abortion-rights group that emerged around the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision overturning Roe v. Wade. Jane’s Revenge claimed responsibility for the firebombing of a Wisconsin pregnancy center and threatened additional attacks against pro-life organizations. According to the memo, the group used A/I Collective infrastructure to publish communiqués, claim responsibility for criminal acts, and encourage copycat attacks.

The implications extend far beyond the United States. State says the same technological infrastructure supported communications associated with European extremists and outlets disseminating information for foreign terrorist organizations, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The designation reflects the Trump administration’s broader effort to confront political violence and the networks that enable it. President Donald Trump declared Antifa a terrorist organization in 2025, and both Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent have indicated that the administration intends to target not only violent actors themselves but also organizations providing them with financial or technological support.

For intercessors, this report highlights how modern terrorism and political violence can depend upon networks that operate far from the scene of an attack. Let’s pray for wisdom and vigilance among America’s national security officials, protection for law enforcement and pro-life organizations targeted by extremists, and justice for those who enable or commit political violence. May the Lord expose hidden networks of wickedness and protect our nation from those who seek to spread fear through violence.

Share your prayers for the protection of our nation in the comments.
