The world keeps spinning, and so do the lies. As Christians, we shouldn’t get caught up in the dizzying chaos of deception. Instead, we must be bold and declare the truth.

The first lie told by the Left this week has actually been circulating through newsfeeds for over a month, but some are just now seeing the story. Unbeknownst to many, Harvard University has hired a drag queen, who goes by the title LaWhore Vagistan, to teach “Queer Ethnography” and “RuPaulitics” (named after the drag queen RuPaul).
Higher Education or Indoctrination?
Yes, this seems like a fictional tale, or perhaps a sick joke, but unfortunately, it’s not! Harvard University’s “Gender and Sexuality Caucus” ignited the spark that brought these courses to life. Like Dr. Frankenstein’s creature, who was created under ungodly circumstances, these classes were conjured up to explore sexual debauchery in a monstrous way. The course description states that its purpose is to explore drag history, pleasure, race, and power.
Professor Khubchandani, who goes by the pronouns “she” or “aunty,” was hired by Harvard as a visiting associate professor who specializes in studies of gender and sexuality. The Harvard website brags that he is the author of several award-winning books, such as Decolonize Drag and Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife. Other accolades listed are his work in the areas of race theory and queer nightlife.
Harvard Sidelines Women
While Harvard classifies itself as an institution of stellar higher education that respects all races and genders, the truth is that its classes alienate a large portion of the population. The class description for “Queer Ethnography” explains that students in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies will be introduced to ethnographic research methods that explore “questions of bodies, pleasure, power, and desire.” In this twisted class, however, who is actually defined as a woman? In fact, biological women are sidelined, so men pretending to be women can dance their way into the spotlight.
Drag in the Schools
Sadly, Harvard isn’t the only school inviting drag queens to teach or influence students. In 2018, a drag queen named “Jessica L’Shor” was given free rein to speak with kids at Rocky Top Middle School about pursuing careers as drag queens. Additionally, some K-12 schools have allowed drag queens to read books to students, speak to after-school clubs, and perform at assemblies.
Harvard insists that their classes enrich students and widen their worldview. But Christians know this is nothing more than an attack on decency and morality. It’s brainwashing students to believe that the drag lifestyle is normal and acceptable when, in fact, it’s a disturbing fetish where men act out their immoral fantasies.
CAIR Founder Releases Action Plan
The second lie told by the Left this week involves a story that hasn’t gotten much attention, but should be on every American’s radar. The founder of CAIR (Council on Islamic Relations), Nihad Awad, delivered a sermon at the Islamic Society of Orange County, where he spoke of an “action plan” to embed Islamic influence into America’s “core institutions.”
As reported by the Rair Foundation, Awad directed “U.S. mosques to produce 100,000 Muslim journalists, filmmakers, lawyers, policymakers, and political candidates by 2050 in order to build Islamic political power inside America.”
Strong Ties to Terrorism
While the Left isn’t talking about the dangers that Islam poses to American society, many conservatives are very concerned. In this particular case, Awad’s connections to terrorism are troubling because the U.S. Justice Department named him as “an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas-financing case.” Furthermore, the CAIR Foundation, which Awad directs, was sued by a former employee who alleged that the Washington-based Muslim nonprofit was receiving funding from organizations like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Rather than reveal the sources of their funding, the group settled out of court. IFA has highlighted CAIR’s ties to terrorism and antisemitism in the past.
After the October 7, 2023, Hamas-directed terror attack on Israel, Nihad Awad (CAIR’s director) was seen in a video celebrating the attack. Moreover, Awad spoke at a Chicago conference for the American Muslims for Palestine, where he proclaimed that “The people of Gaza only decided to break the siege, the walls of the concentration camp, on October 7.”
CAIR is the largest Muslim civil rights group in the country, with at least 33 chapters. Their scope of influence is spreading, especially as Leftist lawmakers such as Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota continue to lift up Islam and excuse the atrocities of October 7. Additionally, as Muslim political candidates like Zohran Mamdani unabashedly smile in photos with terrorists like Imam Siraj Wahhaj, it is clear they are attempting to paint Islam not as a threat, but as part of their vision for America.
The Left maintains that bringing this issue to light is nothing more than Islamaphobia, but the truth is that CAIR and its leaders are attempting to infiltrate the American cultural and political system with Islam’s values and ideologies.
Free Speech Censored
The third lie told by the Left this week revolves around a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, where free speech is being deliberately squashed. For years, Christian preacher Jason Cantrell has delivered gospel messages on the public sidewalk near an abortion business. Though Cantrell has a permit to do this, it was suddenly declared void by police officers, who issued him a citation.
Mr. Cantrell used a small system to amplify his voice as he spoke in a busy area with street noise. Officers stated that the volume of his message was too loud based on a complaint they had received. They claimed this was why they issued the ticket to the preacher, which led to his voice being shut down.
The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) explains that in this area of Atlanta, “officials made lawful speech entirely contingent on whether listeners react favorably. Once anyone complains, regardless of whether the sound exceeds legal limits, the city automatically treats the permit as void. That means police can punish a speaker who was fully in compliance with the permit’s terms, simply because others objected to the message being spoken.” Also known as a “heckler’s veto,” this is a strategy used by those who are against Christian free speech. In the past, the Supreme Court has not supported these violations of First Amendment rights.
The ACLJ notes that “The Constitution does not allow speech to be restricted based on listener reaction or public hostility,” but nonetheless, Mr. Cantrell’s rights were violated in this manner.
Christian Speech Labeled “Hate Speech”
The silencing of Christian speech has become commonplace on the Left because it’s often declared as “hate speech.” Those who speak out against abortion and LGBTQ indoctrination are labeled as bigots, racists, or domestic terrorists. With the recent murder of Charlie Kirk, many Christians are realizing that declaring biblical truth can be dangerous.
On the Left, morality shifts with the culture. Thus, as society embraces the killing of the innocent, the LGBTQ lifestyle, and other forms of immoral behavior, it becomes much harder to speak the truth in public venues.
Regardless of what laws and ordinances the politicians in Leftist-run cities are implementing, it’s important that there is resistance. In the end, the Constitution (inspired by God-given rights) grants Americans the freedom to speak in public. This includes declaring the gospel.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, Isaiah 5:20.
Lord Jesus, as long as we live in a sinful society, the lies will never stop flowing. Nevertheless, we do not have a spirit of fear, but rather the spirit of courage and truth, which helps us battle the forces of darkness.
